SUNDAY MORNING
Worshiping With Us
Where is Inglewood located?
Inglewood is located 3 miles North of Highway 20 on Carrier Pkwy, in Grand Prairie, TX. To Google Map directions: CLICK HERE
What time should I arrive?
Our worship service begins at 10:45. If it is your first time you may want to arrive about 5 to 10 minutes early. There is an Information Center in the main foyer where one of our attendants can answer any of your questions, help you find classrooms for the kids, or assist you in finding a seat in the worship center.
What should I wear?
Most people wear business casual attire, there a few that wear suits, and some that wear jeans. Wear what is comfortable for you but appropirate.
Where do my children go during the service?
All children are welcome to attend worship with their parents. However, we do have a few options as well. Children birth - 3 years old can attend the Extended Teaching Care classes. We offer Worship Kids Style for children 4 years old through Kindergarten. Children in 1st and 2nd grade are invited to attend TAG (Teaching Another Generation). Just click on the underlined links above to find out more.
What should I expect during the worship service?
Each service begins with a welcome from one of our staff. We then give the congretation a brief moment to greet one another. (Don't worry, visitors are not singled out for recognition). Praise and worship time is led by our praise team and choir and reflects a blend of contempary and tradtional music. The preaching of God's word is central to the service. If you have a Bible please bring it. If you need one, there are some for you to use under the chairs. Things wrap up with a response time, collecting tithes and offerings, and sharing a few announcements. We usually end around 12pm.
What is the response time for at the end of the service?
At the end of the service we offer a time of response where the Pastor and staff are available for prayer at the front of the Worship Center. If you feel led to respond to the message regarding personal salvation, baptism, or other issues you are facing our staff is available to speak with you and pray for you.
Do I need to be a church member to partake in the Lord's Supper?
Not at all. We recognize the ordinance of the Lord's Supper once a quarter. If you visit during one of these services we invite you to partake in the Lord's Supper if you have surrendered your life to Jesus and recognize Him as your personal Savior.
How do I get more information about Inglewood after my visit?
Before you leave the service fill out one of our visitor cards. They can be found on the backs of the chairs in the worship center. You can drop your card in the offering plate, bring it to the Information Center, or give it to one of our staff. You will receive a call from one of our staff during the next week to help you get the information you need.
What if I have been vistiting for a while and would like to join?
We recognize that finding a local church is a process of seeking the Lord's direction. If God is leading you to join with our church family we ask that you come forward during the response time of the worship service and share with one of our staff members your desire to join. Part of the membership process is completing the 4 Week Connection Class. This class teaches you more about our church and the ministries we offer to help you grow in Christ and build relationships.
