Pastoral Staff

Ken Gore

Ken Gore

Interim Pastor

Ken joined Inglewood as Interim Pastor in 2022, but he began his walk with Christ at the age of 10. Called into ministry at 16 years old, he attended Hannibal-La Grange College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Bible. The Lord took him to Scotland for two years through the IMB’s journeyman program, and those two years were foundational and formative in His journey. He then came to Texas to continue his studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he completed his Master of Divinity and then his Doctorate, concentrating on Old Testament wisdom literature (most notably the book of Job).
At Southwestern, Ken met and married his wife, Becky. Becky is a native Texan, but she spent much of her childhood in Brazil, where her parents were missionaries. Ken and Becky have one son, who is a great joy! Ken and Becky have served churches in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and here in Texas. Ken currently serves as Professor of Biblical Studies at Dallas Baptist University, having previously taught at Williams Baptist College in Arkansas.
Ken enjoys walking, cycling, traveling to new places, Sudoku, and reading. At any given time, he is reading 2-3 books at once (a habit that started in college!). Being from Missouri, he loves to watch the Cardinals and Blues. But his primary love is the church, and has enjoyed the opportunity to lead churches as Interim Pastor.
